nOMP: A New Sparse Solution to Enhance the SSIM Levels of OMP-Based Encoded Images

This work comprises the development of a quality enhancement technique for image encoders that use compressive sensing. The recommended solution seeks to maximize perceptual based objective function, unlike other sparse representation algorithms minimizes error-based function. key idea behind this is develop an iterative methodology works as modifier coefficients. modification procedure SSIM-based and has been carried out in linear manner. conducted experiments revealed better than another termed SSIM-inspired OMP (iOMP) terms SSIM levels gained. t-test also utilized examine our performance significance, results show method well any type size, especially when data-independent dictionary used.
